So, here's how it all started.
Knot Really Art began during a season of life that felt heavy and uncertain... the dreaded post-grad "wtf am I doing with my life." After finishing school (which realistically, had kept my entire life structured up until that point), I found myself feeling unsure, stuck, and filling my days with random activities and hobbies. What started as a way to fill time slowly became something much more.
String art was the first craft I picked up again. It wasn’t perfect, and it wasn’t meant to be! Making something with my hands helped quiet my mind, pull me out of my own head, and bring a sense of calm and accomplishment I didn’t even realize I was missing.
As I shared these projects and turned them into kits, something unexpected happened. *Dramatic pause* Other people felt it too.
That’s why Knot Really Art exists. It’s about slowing down, stepping away from screens, and rediscovering the joy of creating something! Crafting became less about the final product and more about the process. Showing up, trying something new, and enjoying the moment.
